This location was brimming with history and elegance. It was very old world and the staff treated us like royalty. The staff carried our suitcases, gave us advice about buses and opened doors for us. There is a tiny butlers lift which saved going up all the stairs. The view was lovely and the room and bathroom was luxurious. Lovely touches like a pod coffee machine in the room, big fluffy towels, comfy bed, and a top sheet. The breakfast choice was amazing and it was lovely to have fresh fruit as well. The parlour room that all guests could use was filled with beautiful things and was very fancy.

We did not have breakfast included in our stay. The room and the bathroom exceeded our expectation as it was very large. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was massive. It had lot of space to put toiletries and was very luxurious. As this was a very old inn, we did not expect this. The inn is in the walled part of the city so it was a bit tricky to find.

One of the waitresses in the restaurant had a terrible cold so not sure if they were short staffed. We paid for parking and it was a bit of a walk away. There is parking right at the inn but it is more expensive.

Very comfortable room with ensuite. Well located with a lovely back garden, off street parking and a short walk to the village via a country lane. The village of Stow-on-the-Wold is wonderful and a great spot to base to explore other nearby villages by foot and by car. Our host was very friendly and helpful. A highlight of our UK holiday.

It was a disaster, everything is old/broken/ dirty. It’s nothing like in the pictures, the bathroom is always dirty, it was such a dissapointment for that much money. Last night we had a cockroach too right after the bed, i have pictures too. Too noisy, you can literally hear everything what others do.
