Just 150 metres from the shops of Capri's Via Camarelle, the Mamela offers free Wi-Fi, a private garden, and an outdoor swimming pool. The Marina Piccola beach is a 10-minute drive away. Amazing hotel! One of those hotels you will never forget. We were lucky to get a room there when we slightly changed our plans only a month in advance. So we were quite overwhelmed when we learned about being upgraded to a suite upon check in. We had a terrace and an unbelievable ocean view from our bed - clearly an unforgettable experience. The whole staff, whether at the reception, the restaurant or the room service, was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the sleek design - everything was really beautifully decorated. We will definitely visit this hotel again in the future!

Perfect balance for the vibrant beauty of Capri. Felt like a calm oasis after a day of walking around the island. Very zen-like. Service was top notch. Often it’s tough to find a good balance between personable and professional but this place wrote the book on that. I felt like a valued guest the entire time but with sincerity and also recognition of my privacy. Travelling on my own can have its challenges (I normally travel with my husband but wanted a solo trip) but Ettore and the rest of the staff made it seem completely normal and I was well attended to. Every morning Ettore would sit with me and plan out an itinerary that allowed me to see more than I imagined. Also even though it was the beginning of August and the island was swarming with tourists, I often found myself exploring the sites on my own or with just a few others. He directed me to incredible places taking into account my desire to walk a lot (I got 28,000 steps one day!!!) He took care of dinner reservations again recommending based on my tastes. Of course I will be back!

This hotel surpassed every expectation I had for our trip to Capri. The location was fantastic. The service was exceptional, all of the staff were so kind. Even the food for breakfast was grown on the property and baked on site. It was absolutely one of our most memorable parts of our trip to Italy. Be sure to book here and watch the stars at night from one of the many places to sit in the garden.

I cannot get any better than this for anybody spending the night in Capri Island. The hotel was just a dream, and the staff was the most welcomming ever. You have access to an amazing pool, and a chance to have dinner in a perfect restaurant. The impressive buffet breakfast is just the thing after a luxurious sleep in a super comfortable bed! The toiletries smell like the divine scent that floats around Capri island. One of the only hotels to have an English language channel on TV. The big pool is excellent and adds to the enjoyment of your stay. The Anacapri area of the island has a real local feel and is very chill. It's a nice contrast to the more hectic Capri centre. This hotel is an oasis!

Brilliant location and views from an elegant clean hotel, very close and good access to one of the best beaches in Capri and distant from the crowds. However, and its a big however, the hotel has a shuttle service running up and down the hill every 10 or 15 minutes, and if there isnt one when you want one, contacting the front desk on WhatsApp gets you one quickly. Talking of the front desk, they couldnt be more helpful for whatever is needed.
