Room had a lot of space, jacuzzi in the room was a little surprise (we missed it at photos), staff was friendly, spa and gym were great. Breakfast was worth it and we tried as well the dinner all-you-can-eat buffet and it was really good.

It is a beautiful little town with the castle above it. It can be a great Christmas destination, however, it is important to have in mind that the Xmas market ends on Dec 23rd. We were there on a Friday evening and it was very alive with lots of young people. There was not many restaurants, but a few little coffee shops. Very small, but cosy and cute.

The castle is stunning and beautifully restored, spectacular views. The small old town is very atmospheric and the main square has a range of caffees, and cheap fast food option. It is conveniently located with few thermo spas around. Recomended.

Trencin Castle was really beautiful, especially when you had to walk pass by beautiful churches and then walk on natural path in the woods. The view was stunning. I was so relaxed there. The old town was lovely. The only down side was that I couldn’t find Slovak food in the old town.

I was Trencin to visit a friend.
I was Trencin to visit a friend. I did a day trip to a Spa town in the Czech Republic around 50 min drive from Trencin. In Trencin I visited the castle. I ate some nice food in the Rotunta directly at the station. I visited two pubs, one at the market place another one 500 m away, but I can not remember the names. They had a good choice of craft beer.

Medieval center of power in the region . Nice atmosphere, great views form the castle, even traces of Roman legion's victory of 179 AD.

Preview of the city center and castle ( both night and day )...
Preview of the city center and castle ( both night and day ) , visiting the Brezina city woods, in spring and summer the oxygen trail there can be tested. A city is a good starting point for several hikes ( for example to Kykula peak at Czech borders , to Trencianske Teplice spa or a longer hike to Povazsky Inovec, nearby short hike can be taken to Kubrica lakes to have a fresh fish in summer and to take a supply of a strong mineral water ). As a relax after hike, the OC mall offers besides shopping also cinema. Possibility to go on several bike trails especially with mountain bikes. For a group of friend the Laser Game can be interesting as well. Don't miss out the city brewery Lanius with the accompanied restaurant with excellent food and Caffe Paris is the palce to go for coffee and he selection of cakes :)
Beautiful location off the beaten path up in the hills outside Trenčin, perhaps a 15 minute drive away from the city.. Several of the staff spoke English, which surprised me. Everybody was kind, the room was exceptionally clean, breakfast was included, bathrooms in the room, and it was quiet. The dinner for only 15€ was excellent, with fresh made soup, schnitzel, potatoes, salad, and dessert. I would definitely stay here again if I was passing anywhere near the area again. It was that good. Trenčin castle is also highly recommended.
It was very clean and well equipped, there were even cotton buds and slippers which is definitely not the case anymore even in 3-star hotels. The lady at the reception was very nice and even gave us Trenčín magnet as a welcome present.
We read comments before that it could get hot as there isn't any air-conditioning. We were there in July, but the days weren't extremely hot (23-26 degrees Celsius). There was a fan and that was enough in this case. And all in all, the hotel definitely exceeds the one star expectations.
5 minutes walk from train station and 20 minutes to town center. One of the best hotels I have been in Slovakia. I had a WOW -effect from this hotel - every single thing in the hotel was made to make customer perfectly satisfied with quality!. Really recommend this hotel for those who want to feel a special attitude towards their comfort.
The staff was so very nice and accommodating to us! Next time I am in Trencin I will for sure use this hotel.
The parking was in a gated area that felt very safe and was very accessible.
I also loved the breakfast that they provided! Very tasty.
The air conditioning worked VERY well, which I was very appreciative of.
The view from the apartment on Trenčín Castle is amazing! The host has been extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment is huge and makes you feel cosy and comfortable just like at home. We also enjoyed the apartment being located inside a espressobar! And it made up for the apartment lacking a coffeemachine.
The hotel seems recently renovated in a tasteful way. A lot of plants and pictures makes the common areas cosy. The room was nice, we got a wooden cot for our toddler. The location is very central, close to the main square, cafés etc. Bonus, from the 4th floor we could see a beautiful sunset.
The location is very nice, not far from the Trenčín castle. The room was clean and lovely. Breakfast was lovely although you need to go to a restaurant nearby for it. In the morning, when I needed a taxi, the lady at reception booked it for me which was very nice of her.
Nice quiet location in the forest, yet not too far from the city center. Enjoyed early morning run on nearby trails. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room (I had one with a terrace), good value overall. Will definitely book again next time I’m in Trencin.
Nice family-sized apartment in the Trencin area. Easy access to everything in town and to the highway system. Restaurants and food shopping nearby. Good internet service. Also wonderful attention by the host.
Great value. Even though is not in the city center, we walked less than 25 minutes there and since Slovakia is pretty safe in general, this isn't a problem.
Well equipped kitchen.
great small hotel with restaurant. Very cozy with friendly staff. we stayed in two stained room, which was nice and clean. The lady at the receptions is very friendly and kind!
First visit to trencin , travelled for my sons football, the hotel was truly brilliant especially reception staff , she was wonderful could not do enough for me and all guests.
We enjoyed it during a weekend in couple. Apartment is located near to city center with restaurants, coffee shops and tourist attractions (e.g. Trencin castle).
walking distance to the Castle, that was a main reason we came to Trencin, building was old but really clean! Nice, hospitable stuff, nothing to regret.
