Considering that we wanted to be close to the airport, this was the best option who met our inquiries .
Comfy. clean and specious room, modern with different automated functions. Also the hotel personnel was nice.
Definitely will chose again this hotel, if we`ll be back in Bergamo.

The arrival point of low-cost airlines and cheap flights to Milan, beautiful Bergamo is a tourist destination in its own right. In the foothills of the Alps, the city is spread over 2 levels. The main sights are in the upper level, or Città Alta, where sloping, cobbled streets open into pretty squares.
One such square is Piazza Vecchia with its pavement cafés, beautiful library and elegant Palazzo della Ragione. Through its arches is the Cappella Colleoni, an impressive chapel with an ornately sculpted façade and even more ornate interior. The next door Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore has awe-inspiring frescoes.
Surrounding streets contain several Bergamo old town hotels and B&Bs, while surrounding the whole upper city are 17th-century Venetian walls. There are still remains of the Rocca, the castle that guarded them, and there is also a castle in San Vigilio, a hilltop village reached by funicular railway.
A funicular also descends to the modern town – Città Bassa. Nearby is the Accademia Carrara, a fine art gallery, and opposite is the GAMEC modern art museum. The Serie A club Atalanta FC play in a stadium to the north-east, while south-west is the train station from where buses to Orio al Serio Airport depart.
Booking.com offers several Bergamo hotels near the airport and the neighbouring Orio Centre shopping complex.

The old town is filled with places to eat and things to do. If you enjoy walking and sightseeing Bergamo is the place to go. Easy access to and from the airport made the trip so relaxing. We tried La Vita and several of the other restaurants up the hill they were all excellent.

Beautiful town, especially Alta.
Beautiful town, especially Alta. We found this location great for using public transport. We took the train to Milan on one day and a train to Lake Garda another day. The people are friendly and lots of choice for food and drinks.

Although I have been to Bergamo 24 years ago, I don't remember it being so beautiful and interesting. The Architecture is amazing, with beautiful, grand buildings almost everywhere you look in the city centre and so clean and attended to. Wonderful variety of cafes and restaurants along the main street, with a very effective, regular bus timetable which we used every day to get to and from Citta Alta where we stayed. The train station had regular trains that took us to Milan 45 minutes away and also to the mountains and lakes. Bergamo Citta Alta is also beautiful with many buses going to and fro every 10 / 15 minutes from the city. Food and service in both areas are really very good and although the staff appreciated my Italian attempts, most spoke English. Food and travel were also good value. Recommend train ride to Varenna on Lake Como, absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to go to Bergamo again.

It may just have been the time of year we went (April) but very few restaurants in our immediate area stayed open late. We arrived at one at 9.20pm to be told that they were shortly closing the kitchen! By the time we got to another we were told we would have to chose quickly what we wanted to eat as they were closing soon. So we felt quite rushed to choose and eat. We ate at Vox restaurant on 2 nights which was very nice and they stayed open late.
The nearest supermarket advertised as closing at 9pm but would not let us in for just one item at 8.45pm!
The area was ideal to use as a base to visit other areas; Milan, Lake Garda and Lake Como and also nearby Verona
Citta alta was lovely though although we only went there in the daytime so can't comment on places to eat an evening meal.

Beautiful new town with many shops and cafes.
Beautiful new town with many shops and cafes. And a very interesting old town with 12th-13th century architecture, narrow streets and beautiful churches. It sits on a high hill and has stunning views of the new town.
There are plenty of cafes and pizzerias where you can try delicious pizza and eat a delicious cake.
The location is pretty good actually - while it's better to take a funicular up to the Cita Alta, the relaxed walk back from there takes no more than 30 minutes. The owner kindly met me at the airport and explained everything even with a short city tour by car. The room was very modern and comfy. There is a coffee machine, still water and a kitchenette available. The owners care a lot of everything and their clients, and in touch 24/7. Rarely one could feel oneself as much at home as at Bergamo In City!
The hotel is perfectly located - walking distance to Citta Alta, bus and train station. As I came by plane, the bus station of airport transfer bus is just 5 minutes to walk from the hotel. Also, I had a late flight, there was no problem to check-in later. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean, spacious and with all needed facilities. Numerous cafes, restaurant, supermarkets are just around the hotel. Thank you for the stay! I will stay there the next time again :)
The Albergo 900 is good value and well suited to an overnight stay. It’s within walking distance of Bergamo old town (although there are a few steps!) and the train station. A taxi ride to Milan Bergamo airport from the hotel costs about €30 and takes about 20 minutes. The hotel staff are very helpful and will arrange transportation for you. The rooms all have free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. While it’s not a luxury hotel, it’s a decent choice for a night or maybe two.
I think there is a few must see places on north Italy:
6. Milano
5. Como lake
4. Venezia
3. Bergamo - Citta Alta
2. Lake D'iseo
And numero uno B&B Bella on Carlo Alberto Street, where lives Cristian and Giovanna😄😄
Lovely, helpfull pair who make your North Italy Trip perfect. Delicious breakfast, lovely clean place, good bus connection.
Our staying was very enjoyable. Good luck & see you again Giovanna & Cristian😊

It was a good time in Bergamo. The apartment was big and really beautiful, equipped with all needs. Clean and homely place. It also has a private parking, good wifi and a smart TV. Very friendly and helpful owner. Wonderful location - about 12-15 minutes walk to Bergamo railway station. Few minutes from Bergamo center (Città Bassa) and 20 min walk from old town (Città Alta). We highly recommend this place. Thank you so much!
A lovely spot, just 10min drive from the Citta Alta di Bergamo with a private parking. Our room was spacious and very clean. Every room has a little table and chairs in front of the entrance, but there are also plenty of chairs and sunloungers next to the pool. Elena's hospitaly and energy is great, and we felt immediately at home. Due to Corona the breakfast will be prepared in the room. We can highly recommend Da Noi Due!
The location was perfect, just in the heart of the citta alta of Bergamo, even it was in the city center, it was not noisy! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel didn't have a parking in the same building, but there was a parking 6min walking from the hotel. The staff from the hotel booked for us in advance a spot in the parking. Definitely highly recommended!
the location is great the hosts are kind and willing. we wanted to leave the car after check out time in the parking place and they where very kind and willing. the communication was easy true Whats-up. a nice clime to the old town. good location! we stayed for one night. and we had everything we needed. 13min from Bergamo airport.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. It's near a bus stop which includes the 1A to take you up to Cite Alta(Bergamo Old Town).) Great breakfast choice and there's a terrace restaurant with great views of Cite Alta. Beautiful food but not cheap. The bus stop for the airport is across the street (1 aeroporto).
You get the old feeling of Italy 🇮🇹. It’s a base and I had everything I needed . I walked everywhere. The town is stunning and at the apartments walk straight up and maybe 40 mins and u come to the Bergamo wall .
And old town . Wow . Don’t miss this

Felt very safe in Bergamo
The staff was very nice, they even helped us with the taxi reservation, the room was one of the best that i've stayed at in Italy. Very rustic but also very modern. I'll definitely recomend Antico Borgo to anyone who wants to come to Bergamo.
A very good hotel, located in the middle of the old town, 5 min walk from the Funicolare Città Alta and another 15 min walk or 5 min bus ride from city center..very pleasant stuff and nice break fast..recomended
Best place in Bergamo
Not far for airport
Late check in is very useful if you flight arrives at midnight
Clean and tidy rooms
Located in cozy neighborhood
And the most important - friendly and careful hosts
Wonderful service -- we were very well looked after by Roberto and the staff. The room and hotel are both very nice and the location is perfect with it's proximity to the Citta Alta and the funicular.
Super cuuuuuute apartment, perfect for up to 3/4 people, but also very cheap for a single person. Quite close to the airport (perfect to go on foot), and only 3km away from the Città Alta of Bergamo
Most excellent loaction if you have limited time to spend in Bergamo. The hotel is just in the middle of old town, just step outside and you are in the middle of beauty and life.
Seem that hotel is after complete reconstruction and rooms are nice and well designed :). Really like location it's quite close to old town (Citta Alta), with walking distance.
