Wonderfully located hotel in Obertraun. Although the room was small, it was cozy. The breakfast buffet had everything I wanted. The receptionist was super friendly and helped me with all my questions. There is a pool, a ping-pong table, and a football table available for free use. The opening hours of the nearest grocery store are not optimal, but the hotel has a snack machine which was very convenient. I recommend staying here rather than in Hallstatt during the summer months as Hallstatt is extremely touristy. Here in Obertraun, it is much quieter, and you can take a boat or bike to Hallstatt.

The apartment is great - clean, quiet, comfortable. The host made us feel welcomed. Everything in the apartment was thought trough, so you would enjoy your time here and have what you need. The bed was extra comfortable. There was plenty information regards surrounding area, hiking trails. We loved every moment while staying here. Would definitely come back again.

we enjoyed the location, the little and charming bungallows, the rich breakfast and the outstanding multilingual staff. Additionally, the activities to do are numerous (biking, hiking, kayaking...) if you would like to avoid the touristy Hallstadt. You can go by bike anywhere, even to hallsdtatt. We drove from Vienna to the localtion of the hotel. however, you can also arrive to hallstadt by train and then rent a bike to the place; or travel to town of Obertraun (Obertraun train station is 20 min walk from the hotel). The staff will recommend (and make the bookings fro you) at many great and good quality restauratnts.

The location of this house is precious. The fact that you can get a glimpse of the lovely alps from your window while sipping the morning coffee would be something extremely appealing to anyone, I believe. The house was so beautiful with a personal touch everywhere. The decor was simple and very nice. The rooms were super clean. The kitchen has got all the amenities, utensils and never-ending supplies of tea/coffee. The toiletries and towels were provided in abundance. And lastly, the hosts were so warm & welcoming! Their hospitality is out of the world. This is the place to stay in Obertraun without any second thought!
