A charming, newly renovated old house on the mountainside with breathtaking views of Lake Como. The care of the owner was beyond expectations, we got good advice for moving around the area and the breakfast was great, and flexible in terms of schedules. Special care was taken for the enjoyment of the our teenagers. We stayed in a family room, the room was just right for our needs and the balcony had stunningl view of the lake. This is the time when we were able to talk to the owner/manager. He is very friendly and helpful, plus his English is very good. He gave very good advice and is knowledgeable about the area. Price was good for that area.

Difficult to catch a taxi to leave Varenna to Lecco for onward train to Milano. Laura was kind enough to order a taxi for us. Clean and quiet room. Excellently located very close to the pier - good when raining.
