Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches.

Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches. A small seaside town with only a small shopping area with small independent stores. Some nice restaurants. As with many seaside towns there are some closed down shops and more maintenance needed in places, a little jaded in parts. However the main town Beach, Viking Bay is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Residents were friendly and it felt safe.

Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining. The menu is very limited at weekends and if there is a function at the time of visit, you can forget about any available facilities in the hotel. We booked tea for one evening and this was extremely disappointing for the amount of money charged.

good location near beach and over looking sea , although our room had no view. Lovely coastal walk , went in winter I guess- march , but still a lovely walk and we were lucky with the bright days .lunch was lovely as was breakfast. Staff very accommodating and attentive, nice bar area to chill in the evening. Room above woke us at 5am as floor boards very creaky but bed was comfortable

There are lots of independent cafés, restaurants and shops, beautiful sandy beach. It’s easy to visit nearby coastal towns like Margate where you can visit the Turner Contemporary - highly recommended.

Been scores of times over my life - this was the first long weekend to see relatives who now live in Broadstairs - it's a beautiful English seaside town with tons of history and the best beaches, I think, in the south of England - wonderful for summer swimming (especially stone bay). has a great community feel, good restaurants and pubs and is wonderful for kids and oldies alike.

we had a stake evening meal meal that was expensive and was a small portion for the price the cooked for was OK but not what i was expecting from what is presumed to be a high class hotel that fell well short of expectations. i would NOT stay there again mainly because there is NO parking at the hotel and it made exploring the area not some to do as you would not know where you could park the car when returning.

I would say that Jo went above and beyond as our host, very nice lady welcoming and warm and very well informed. Me and my boyfriend/partner, were very happy with our stay. had a really lovely time, at Broad Stairs in Kent where we stayed. lots to do and see, good food restaurants for all, enjoyed the fresh burger at the Viking Bay Cafe, was delicious. We both feel revived after our break. The weather was good to,re so only being there for the weekend made all the difference. Thanks Jo and Adam, Deborah And Terry x

The botany bay Hotel has an amazing location, the views were breathtaking. I went there with my 6 year old son and we both has a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. All the food that was served was not only tasty but the presentation was amazing too. Molly on reception was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. I look forward to going back.

As you entered the Yarrow, it felt clean and luxurious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Although the hotel is a little away from the main centre of Broadstairs, there is a bus stop just outside which runs in a loop between Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margaret. The breakfast was excellent.

We loved the space of the house. It is is on 3 floors, has 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. Fantastic location- a couple of mins from the beach and 1 min from.the main street with loads of good restaurants. Broadstairs is a very beautiful location. I think it has been my favourite of all the different places I have stayed at on the Kent seaside.

Thé property was perfect! The apartment was welcoming. The kitchen included utensils, plates, saucers, microwave, oven, etc. everything you need for a comfortable stay. Added bonus, a nice cozy patio. Located in the heart of Broadstairs! Do I recommend this B&B? Yes, in fact, we booked it again for the Spring.

Needed somewhere to stay for one night. The Crown Bar & Guesthouse came up on an Google search. Great location just a little off the sea front in Broadstairs. The room that I had used shared bathroom but that wasn't an issue with me. Other rooms have private facilities. A friendly welcome on arrival.

If you are planning to stay in Broadstairs, there is no better location. It is literally in the hub of the activity and overlooks the coastline. It is a very pet friendly hotel and the breakfast was faultless, (slight delay due to being busy aside). No hesitation in recommending.

Centrally located in Thanet - a great location for us to walk Ramsgate-Broadstairs-Margate and explore the inland villages on foot. Clean beds and hotel, cheery and incredibly helpful staff, in room coffee and tea facilities (vital for us as we’re early risers)
