Very comfortable, beautiful room with all the amenities one could wish for, very clean, it was easy to retrieve the key with a code, great bed, coudl have stayed more nights if it had been necessary. Excellent location.

Spacious modern home in picturesque village is located in Exeter, just 4.4 miles from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium and 19 miles from Newton Abbot Racecourse. All except lack of a teapot. Grage parking was good.

The Stables offers accommodations in Clyst Saint Mary, 11 miles from Powderham Castle and 23 miles from Castle Drogo. Quiet and picturesque country location but conveniently close to Exeter city. Welcoming and helpful host. Light and cheerful inside. Very useful for us having both bedrooms on the ground floor, with an en-suite and a bathroom respectivelyas one of our party was in her nineties.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Elbury Lodge provides accommodations with a garden and free Wifi. This guest house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. Kat welcomed me upon arrival with bonafide friendliness and showed me around the Lodge which has so much character and is so very cosy! The communal kitchen is perfectly outfitted with all you'd need to prepare almost any meal and is so very clean and easy to clean after use. Kat and I talked for a half and hour or so outside the Lodge shortly after I had settled in and it was easy to see that she genuinely engages in conversation with guests with interest. I saw Chris as I headed out on on a walk to get some groceries and although he was talking with someone else he called out a greeting to me and gave a big wave. There's a great welcome guide in the rooms with a history of the property, synopsis of the conservation efforts ongoing on the farm, information on local shops, etc. You will not be bothered by the hosts but if you have a question or just want to say hello, rest assured you can knock on their door and know you will be more than well received!

Hues Piece Paynes Farm accommodations in Broadclyst, 21 mi from Torquay and 5 mi from Exeter. The property is 22 mi from Taunton and free private parking is provided. I stayed with my parents and my sister, in Oct-23. This is a great place. Plenty of parking, comfortable, clean, full kitchen and a great big TV. The host, Tina, was waiting for us and offered any assistance when we arrived. Highly recommended!
