Great property with excellent room choices for families. Restaurant/room service had lovely menu and the food was delicious. The pool deck is a great addition and wish we had more time to enjoy it. We stayed overnight on our way to South Gippsland. We needed to stop and rest, we also had our small dog which was very appreciative being allowed to stay. Have never stayed in Wangaratta before, it was very nice, close to shops and a beautiful park. Will stay again.

To me, Wangaratta is a hidden gem. I love it!

To me, Wangaratta is a hidden gem. I love it! I first chose it due to its relative proximity to ski fields, but once i visited the first time, i was in love. It is a good size regional centre, has an urban flair, but is immersed in its beautiful parks and bike paths to die for! Great as a hub to explore further out (wine and food, ski fields etc) but also lovely to. chill out by the rivers or some of its many creeks. I recommend a self guided walk around its historic buildings (pick up the map from Info centre), swim under the main bridge in summer, of course ride a bike, it's mostly flat and easy

Plesantly surprised how tidy this hotel was. Great bar area with a nice selection of beers on tap and wine selection. The Dinning room menu has a touch of fine dining in the selection, unfortunaltley my partner was a little disappointed with the potatoes cooked in Duck fat.... mushy and oily... not crispy. Breakfast was fantastic and great value! The pool facility, spa and sauna are awesome. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

The location was central in Wangaratta, close to shops, but also very private and quiet. The Manager was welcoming, friendly, thoughtful and kind. The Motel was extremely clean, and although older, very well kept and presented. Although travelling alone, I felt very safe. For a stay on a budget, this property exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back.

Apex Park apartments are a perfect location for a short stroll into town or any event at the Apex Park itself. The accommodation is larger than average, which is a bonus if you're staying as group. The accommodation is very clean, and maintenance is kept up to above standard. We would have no hesitation of staying here again, for a short or long stay.

Billabong Wangaratta was a delight to drive into after staying at some average motels. Staff were wonderful via phone (due to contact free) and very helpful in restaurant suggestions. The rooms were fresh, clean and well appointed. A recently renovated bathroom was amazing. Beds were very comfortable and everything looked new and well thought out.

The staff were helpful and kind, allowing us to check in a little early as we'd had a long drive and we were in Wangaratta for a funeral that afternoon. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable after a long day. We would definitely recommend and stay again if we come this way in the future.

It was a very convenient place to stay in Wangaratta. the simple breakfast in the quaint dining room was a real touch of home and very much appreciated. It was quiet and I loved having our separate cabin, much better than most motels I have stayed. I would definitely go again.

We were after a hotel where we didn't have use shared spaces - hallways or lifts or carry things upstairs. We like the older style of drive up motels and this one fit the bill well.
